The NHRC Online Short Term Internship Programme (OSTI) for September 2026 will commence on September 14 and continue until September 25, 2026.

Eligibility

The internship is open to students meeting the following requirements:

  • Students studying in the 3rd year and onwards of an integrated 5-year PG course.

  • Students of any semester/year of any postgraduate diploma course.
  • Research scholars in any stream.

Applicants must also meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 60% marks in Class XII.
  • Minimum 60% marks in the first four semesters of the graduation course/five-year integrated course.
  • Applicants must clearly mention the calculated percentage from their CGPA/SGPA along with the formula used for calculating the percentage.
  • Failure to provide the calculated percentage and formula may result in rejection of the application.
  • The applicant should not be more than 28 years of age as of August 1, 2026.

Duration and Working Hours

The internship will be conducted for two weeks, from September 14 to September 25, 2026.

The working hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Mode of Internship

The internship will be conducted online.

It is a full-time programme from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Students should ensure their availability during these hours before applying.

Stipend and Certificate

Students who complete the internship will receive a stipend of Rs. 2,000.

  • Marksheets: Self-attested scanned copies of marksheets from Class XII onwards, including marksheets of each year/semester of the course currently being pursued.
  • Recommendation Letter: Scanned recommendation letter/email from the concerned HOD, Dean or Principal in the annexed proforma.
